We know what you’re thinking. You're looking into organizing an event for your group but you want to make sure that after the dust has settled that you’re bringing home the bragging rights. Well champion we have you covered, here’s the keys to success.
Bubble Soccer is all about pacing yourself and setting the pace. The bubbles themselves make it tough to dodge your opponents but you don't’ have to dodge them if they’re too tired to chase you. Early on in matches most everyone is sprinting around the field looking to get open but as the round gets close to the end everyone is too tired to sprint. The players that used their energy judiciously are rewarded with the last minute goals that ensure victory and bragging rights.
Fuel and Water
One of the most common mistakes we see on the field is players not preparing and managing their stomachs. Bubble soccer, while more fun and much sillier than your average sport, is still a sport. Make sure to eat a good pre-workout meal, drink lots of water, and bring extra with you to the match. There’s nothing worse than being halfway through your event and the only thing on your mind is going to 7-11 to get a Gatorade. It’s a great idea to bring a protein or energy bar and water with you for keeping you on your A-game.
For most first timers it takes some time to trust that the bubbles with save them in a collision so the beginning of the first match can take a while to get going. But you don’t have to wait for the match to start to trust your new bubble. Once you’ve arrived and the match has yet to start, put on a bubble and just fall over or better yet get someone else to put on a bubble and try it out with them. After a couple hits or falls you’ll realize that there’s nothing to fear so once the match starts you’ll be clearing a path to the goal for your team.
