After you tried Bubble Soccer for the first time you were hooked and now you’re thinking about picking up your own set because if it’s your thing you can’t rent them forever. Well Stratus Sports Club is here to help you decide on whether to stay a renter or become a buyer.
The advantages of buying are clear: you can play whenever you want, you don’t have to worry about leaving the house to play, you can get some great custom designs on your bubbles, and it must be cheaper to have your own set in the long run. All of those are true, and even we like the idea of bubbles with flames painted on the side, but there’s a lot more that goes into owning your own set of bubbles.
First off the bubbles are large, large like your roommate decided to set up a full drum kit in the living room. Unless you have a garage and no cars the bubbles are bound to be in the way. Remember if you’re storing your own bubbles to keep them in a cool, dry room.
The bubbles can’t sit for extended time in the sun and after repeated exposure they have to be wiped down with plastic cleaner to prevent them from going opaque. There are plenty of ways to do this, the process is the same as what causes your headlights to fog up, but it’s important to keep your bubbles cleaned at least once per two uses or twice a year, whichever is more often.
Lastly, transporting the bubbles to another location can be difficult if you want to travel with them. As we already stated the bubbles are quite large and can be heavy. A full set of 12 bubbles with an air pump can easily weigh 300 lbs which can be difficult to load and unload into your vehicle.
Stratus Sports Club usually recommends renting your bubbles from us to avoid any difficulties but if you’re interested in ordering you own set feel free to reach out to us and we can help you with your purchase.
